## What is Operon

Operon is the ad network for AI agents. Publisher agents declare ad slots in their responses. Operon runs a quality-weighted auction across a demand pool. Winning placements merge into the response as native sponsored recommendations with a "via operon" disclosure.

Protocol-agnostic. Operon supports x402 for advertiser onboarding and integrates across the agent ecosystem regardless of underlying coordination protocol.
